Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring April's SOTM, which is Flower Pot, a set of 16 stamps.

If you have come here from Michelle's Blog, you are on the right path! This month we have over 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. So grab your favorite drink and hop around the internet like an Easter Bunny. Here we go!

At the beginning of the year I decided to make my own "kit of the month club" This month the kit that I am working with is Caboodle. The kit features some fantasitic spring colors Buttercup, Crystal Blue, Sorbet, and Sweet Leaf. The paterned paper is so fun, playful, and modern...perfect for guys or girls. I made this sweet little card that reminds me of looking out of a kitchen window over a garden.

The card it self was a pretty simple design I did some layering, coloring and masking. I masked the flowers so that they can go over the shutters. To do masking I always stamp on a post it note and then cut out the image I want to mask. The reason I use a post-it is two fold. One it is very thin and you don't get a partial missing image from the cardstock. Two it has sticky stuff on the back which makes it stay in place while you stamp around it.

Recipe:
Caboodle Level 2 Paper Packet
Designer Ribbon Rounds: Sorbet Collection
Flower Pot Stamp Set
Liquid Glass
Prisma Glitter
