My Favorite {CTMH} Things - Holidays

Hi everyone welcome to our Playing with Paper team blog hop. We like to feature some of our favorite things each and every month. This month we are showcasing holiday projects. Hopefully you have come here from Jennifer Payami's Blog you are on the right path. This is a circular blog and so if you are just starting here you can follow along and enjoy everyone's projects.

I decided to feature products from the Pear and Partridge line. I just adore this paper! I decided to grab the Level 2 paper pack a couple of stamps the Workshop on the Go and added a bit of a twist.

First up is a Merry Little Christmas card. I based this card on the WOTG but added my own touch and changed up quite a few things. Here is a close up of that card.

Aren't those little red gems just so cute? They are so pretty.
For my next card I used the Level 2 paper pack along with the stamp sets Perfect Fit - Holidays and Perfect Fit - Frames. I also added some of our glitz. I got this card design from our new Make it from the Heart book.

My last card is also based on a card from Make it from the Heart and I just added a little of this and that. I used the stamp set from the WOTG this set is so cute and versatile with ornaments and birds  It also has some great Christmas sentiments.

These cards along with a few others are going to be a part of my Jump start Christmas Camp on November 2 and 3rd. More details will be in my newsletter. If you do not receive my news letter and would like to please send me an email with Newsletter in the subject line to PaisleyScraps@gmail.com now head on over to the next blog Jayma Malme.

Foam Adhesive is good for...

so many things. Over at Practical Scrappers today you will find 10 great ideas for foam adhesive. I decided to use it to pop up stamped images. First I pulled out another one of these swing cards from the Cricuit Artiste Cartridge (I cannot get enough of that thing) and then I did some random stamping. The random stamping might look familiar because I was so inspired by Vicki Wizniuk's post  on random stamping last year that I pinned it and remembered that I needed to use that color scheme and try to make something as beautiful....I hope I succeeded,

I also used the Art Philosophy to cut the parts of the cards...the acorns and the label shape. I don't know about you but the one cartridge has made me use the other so much more than i ever did before. They work together like two peas in a pod.

Owl see a witch

I don't know why but I really love to make Halloween cards. I think it brings out the kid in me. Today over at Practical Scrappers they are scaring up some cards and layouts. Here is mine - yes another swing card. I just love those too. LOL I am becoming a little predictable. I will have to try something new in the near future.

Here is the inside of the card.

and then the little side view. Isn't that tulle ribbon so cute? I have never ever worked with it before. It was pretty fun.

Laughter...

I have a small child. She thinks the rules the roost...in reality she sort of does however she is not allowed in my scrapbook area without supervision and now you can see why.

When I saw this all I wanted to do was cry and stomp my feet but then I realized all you can do sometimes is just laugh. She thought her ehem "art work" was so beautiful. I was not so impressed. I was however impressed that the Copics came off of my table top.

She used 5 ruined 1 and I now keep them hidden away out of sight. I am pretty sure she knows where I keep them but out of sight out of mind I guess. Haha!!

This wonderful memory was brought you you by our newest Sketch over at Sketch-n-Scrap. I hope you can join us!

Here is a quick tip! My large title "Laugh" is actually the base of some stickers that I used here I loved the font so much so I cut around the word and got a whole new title out of it. See sometimes it pays to keep all the bits and peices...
Here is sketch #18 from Lisa
